Hey everyone. A local guy who knows I collect Tags (okay, and a few other types) is offering to sell me this watch for $900 USD and tells me it is definitely worth having. Very limited run and somesuch. Since I am not overly fond of the look(yet), I might in the future sell it to someone else, so my question is ... is it worth his asking price? Further info: Ref ce1122, and it is NOT signed in the back by Gerhard Berger. Still, worth it? Or am I going to be stuck with something that if I can't learn to love it (and I might) will put a big hole in my pocket?

If you collect watches, you should arm yourself with background information about a watch you are about to purchase. Every seller will tell you their watch is special; you should know ahead. Based on the ebay link from @automobilia42 , minus ebay fees, I'd offer him 200$ cash. Assuming it is in working condition.
