Aha, well I have seen this many times. And I personally love it. So much so that I nearly bought it but in the end I bought the WAY208C instead. Mainly because I didn't really like the strap it comes on. I would still consider buying it and putting it on the fitted rubber strap. Seriously the dial is cool as hell!

I found this one when searching for the Black Carbon with Rose Gold Aquaracer. Both of those models jumped out as something special. I seem to be drawn to the Black case on the Aquaracer.

Have seen that on YouTube. Decent video in fairness, but was just wondering if that translated into the real world.

Love the WAY208C btw. Just googled it and looks great. How well has the PVD coating lasted, just out of interest?

EDIT: Nice blog write up too.

Thanks. Well my WAY208C looks like it just came out of the factory.... but I wouldn't read too much into that since it's only worn now and then and I really look after it. Took me about three years to find one and so I'm a bit obsessed with keeping it minty.

This rubber strap will also fit the Camo Aquaracer.

This was a photoshop I did ages ago when I was deciding which one to go for.

If you are in the UK I believe Bicester village might still have the camouflague AR in stock.

If you plan to use the watch, count on the coating getting a bit worn and torn along the edges. To me it just adds to the badass character of the watch but I think you need to consider how you plan to use the watch. Will you baby it and keep it in the box, the coating will stay superb but not if you wear it in your daily life on a regular basis.

Like every Breitling Avenger Blackbird Blacksteel Night Vision Super Dark Avenger Black Phantom I've ever seen preowned.

Yeah it's cool, but not as cool as the Breitling Avenger Blackbird Blacksteel Night Vision Super Dark Avenger Blackwind, Fire and Steel limited edition.

Just the same but with a Vantablack dial, hands and hour markers. Literally like looking at a black hole in a dark room with the lights off.

Both look epic on the rubber strap. Yours is clearly more subtle. The better of the two choices for sure.

I am trying to decide between getting something for everyday use, with a nicer subtle Chronograph at a later point, or to go with the Chronograph now and still use my Apple Watch daily.

if I bought the Aquaracer, it would be my daily.

I am torn at the moment, but that is certainly a factor that I can envisage for the future!

I wouldn't buy a PVD for a daily wearer, but then I would be checking it over every night for 'damage'

That’s the issue with this one. It’s styled as a daily, rather than something you’d keep for those nice occasions, yet there’s the inherent risk of not keeping it nice. Tough one really.

They do have it at Bicester btw, as you suggested above. They have some others which I like too. Some I hadn’t seen before. This is from stock list as opposed to actually having travelled there. Need to be certain before driving 3.5 hours each way.

Ah they sent you the WhatsApp list, jolly good. Yes I agree, it's not a 'smart' watch is it, so having it in PVD is a bit odd. But then again that dial wouldn't look nearly as good in a steel case.
