Sounds like a header to an article that would provide this information but actually i was wondering if i could get an answer to these question, i've done some research with very general information (no first hand experiences).
Can anyone give me a little detail on this movement?
from some sources I've read i found out it gets broken often and for that reason a lot of model get discontinued.
Any information would be highly appreciated.

The Calibre S is the most amazing timepiece in the history of TAG Heuer 😉... Having said that, I can't tell you how often I've had to recalibrate and service them. It seems as though the majority of the complaints have come from the Link Calibre S, and not so much from say the Carrera Calibre S... That may just be because more of the Link's sold than the Carrera?

I heard it loses time quickly, the more you use the chronograph the more it messes up.
Just wasn't sure if the pros outweigh the cons.

The main question/ complaint I've heard is that it is hard to set the time...but once that is done, it seems to work well. Haven't heard issues with losing time.

Does anyone use the chronograph on a watch much?

I use it all the time. Like when I need to know how long my baby naps. Or, how fast I can drop my son off at school... So, you know, practical everyday stuff. lol

Plus, the chrono on the Calibre S is just fun to play with.

If you have trouble setting the time you could try this video !!

Personally I like the Laptimer versions if you like a large chunky timepiece then the SLR edition CAG7010 is very appealing. Actually the bracelet design used on the SLR design is one of the best IMHO.
