Calibre 18 Telemeter - Silver or Bronze?

Hi Guys,

Been looking at the Calibre 18 Telemeter for some time now. I love the size and feel on the wrist and most of all the glassbox look. I must have looked the watch in the person 3 or 4 times now.

My problem as per the title - that online i see photos of the the Telemeter as a nice silver face watch with sometimes a bit of a gold hue - looks fantastic. When ever i see it in person - the watch almost looks completely Bronze\Gold. I suspect this is the high number of lights and in the Tag store causing a lot of direct light to hit the face of the watch.
Trying to view it on different angles lessens the 'gold' looks a bit but never do i see it look silver at all.

Wanted to get some more experienced views from Telemeter owners.

In my experience with the modern carrera reedition branded HEUER not tag heuer, it always silver face with a bit of a gold hue.

I think they polished it a bit bettee than the normal tag heuer or what i dont know. It does looks fantastic.

If you really want to go for the "white gold" kind of feeling instead of silver steel then please try the calibre6 chronometre HEUER

Then you will know what i am talking about. It just feel different. Even compare to the one of Telemeter. Which already great btw.

The Telemeter does have a gold hue to the dial. As you have discovered, whether it appears silver or gold depends more on the lighting. The type of spotlights they use in watch stores do have a definite yellow tint to them which probably accentuates the gold in the dial. If I were you, I'd ask if you can view it near the window in more natural light.

The second batch of pictures (taken with a whitebox) are most representative of the dial in natural daylight.

The Telemeter dial has a bit of a "golden" color. Here are some shots I took (next to my Calibre 17), so that you can judge for yourself.
