    Hi all,

I am new here and new to TG watches. I have always been fascinated with one and in the process of acquiring my first one. So pardon me if I sound like a noob. The watch I am considering is a TG Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS2. I have attached a couple of photos of the particular watch. I am trying to assess the going rate for a wonderful used specimen today. I can't seem to find too many used copies to establish a good price point. Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Wow that watch surely lost it's value. Considering that it was US$8,500 new (still is) and can be had for about $6,000 (online). It's strange that a TAG would lose it's value that quickly.

Not necessarily. This model has been on sale since 2008 and I reckon would have been around the A$6 mark when first launched (from memory, the Calibre 36 was below A$10k...around $7-8k).

So, if the owner bought this in 2015 then I agree...but if they bought it a few years ago, then they haven't lost much
