Got a message from my boy TH Covent Garden that they have a brand new Monza 40th Anniversary CR2080 avaialble in stock. I suppose they'll activate the warranty upon sale. Price I was quoted was £4950. Just want to drop the note here for anyone interested.

 

Seems very expensive. Wasn't this available for about 40% off somewhere recently?

 

It is quite amusing how about three years ago these were constantly on offer at Bicester Village with 30% off and yet now they put one in a flagship store at nearly £5000...

Also, why is it that every single second hand one you see is not on the original strap? Must be as flimsy as I was led to believe...

 

I bet it will sell though. Some rich tourist will see it and buy it. Covent Garden is a good place for TH to have a boutique.

 

Expensive than secondary market. I guess for a NOS with full warranty, it might be worth it. Plus I'm sure you can get a discount if you asked

 

I should hope so for a 7 year old watch.
