Inspired by @Jim Dollares suggestion we should up sticks to a Black Bay forum, I thought we should do some more science..

Has anyone had issues with the movement in their Black Bay 58?

Had mine now for 2 1/2 years coming up to 3yrs, pretty much worn most days and not babied at all. Only issue I had was it was running out of COSC specs (+7 i think), dropped of RSC 3wk turn around and now within COCS at +4. Would love +2 or +1 that i hear others have but let's be honest there are bigger things to worry about right

Well it seems like the one I tried on in the shop the gold had worn off the bezel. Shoddy.

In the meantime I can happily report that my 58 is performing insanely well. We talking a second or couple seconds give or take per day. Plus, hand winding is so pleasureable. The only negative I would say is the long power reserve. Shortening it would be an improvement so I would get to hand wind it more often.

what stops you to do it everyday, my manual wind Panerai has 72 hours (spec but I'm getting 90+ hours in real life) but I wind it everyday to keep better accuracy.

Hand winding climax is best when winding from zero. Its like putting your fingers in warm butter, the first smooth winds when the watch has stopped.

My BB58 has been running for nearly 2 years without any problems (+3s/day) , even after falling from a height of 1 meter onto the granite floor.

Off to find some warm butter to stick my fingers to check the experience, not going to tell herself though, she’ll stop my internet access.

Have you had any problems with yours?

Mine has been perfect, but then so have my TAG Heuers. As I've stated elsewhere, these forum surveys are far from being "science", more of an anecdotal snapshot of a few. But I'm happy to provide feedback, for whatever it's worth.

I am pretty sure no one actually thinks we are serious when joking with the word science  I understand my post about the cailbro cinco was very over the top but yesh, lets call these things forum surveys or similar.

I will soon summarise and post my survey of the H02.

Mine has also been perfect, granted it has had a much easier life than my calibre 5 aquaracer.

    Omg, you're sciencing again :D

What about the H01? Oh, no need to since it is proven Japanese engineering. :D

After many years on watch forums, I can honestly say I have seen this exact same scenario played out with many different brands, not just Tudor. It's certainly not the usual experience, and very often, as in this case, it's the AD that has made most of the errors, not the manufacturer.
