Bezel marker paint

Any ideas how I can 'touch up' the missing black on the 11 bezel marker ??
I've heard model paint or black nail varnish ?
Any advice would be appreciated

This was put back with a marker pen, I've done that on 2 or 3 watches and it's quick, simple and it lasts surprisingly well...

It's not ideal, but... I decided to try it as a temporary measure as I didn't have much faith in my ability to paint neatly and it's still there. So I don't really see much worth in trying to paint it and potentially making a mess. Also, if you do have paint still in there but it's faded, the pen sits on top and makes all the markers look the same.

It's odd because all the black has gone, not faded or a bit missing.Like it's fallen out.
The one I've penned over doesn't look any different than the others.

I've heard that model paint works.
I was going to give that a try but the marker pen trick was so simple and did the business
