Here's a couple of Heuerville straps. They're bespoke and Stewart really does a good job.

And here's a couple of leather NATOs from bandrbands ...

Cheers,
Gabe

I'm boring when it comes to straps and bracelets in that I almost always prefer whatever came with the watch originally- if not the exact same strap, then the same style.

The "leather-like" Corfam straps that came with most Heuers in the 1970s are actually a bit rubbish as a strap- sure they look good, but they can be too stiff compared to a nice leather strap. So, while I wouldn't go for a Corfam (especially at the price), I would still close to that style- small holes, black leather and relatively plain.

There has been a real cottage industry of hand-made strap producers popping up over the last few years, such as Stewart at Heuerville, who is one of the best. And while I absolutely admire the skill and effort that goes into these , I would always prefer original/ original style ahead of custom- but I'm conservative!

Isofrane straps came in the early 1980s and look great on the diver Autavias, while there are the black and coloured tropics from the 1970s that also look good.

I'm with DC on this, I like the look of original Corfam straps, however, I don't use them due to their value and fragility.
In my opinion, the next best alternative is a replica Corfam strap available at Heuertime
