I think it's to do with brand protection and copy rights.

It's a shame, really, there were some REALLY well done Tag watchfaces (that i no longer have) that i'd have LOVED to use now that my watch IS actually a tagheuer watch.

It makes sense, I suppose: with a lot of these brands actually releasing their OWN wearos watches, with their own inhouse designed faces (faces that are designed and made to look much better than most of the stuff you find around the internet for the watchmaker app. Being profesionally made and all). I just wish they all knew that COLORS actually EXIST in ambient mode. (yes, i know "amoled saves more power with black/white displays" etc...but it's honestly not TOO much of a difference). It frustrates me to see such beautifully designed faces, that barely get to see the light cuz the colors and designs turn off.
