Yup, that looks really good!

What strap is it? Unfortunately my Autavia is sent away for some warranty issues, but I鈥檓 looking around to find a good rally strap!

As you might remember I was just about to move back to Europe when that same thing happened with the watch lately, so I handed it to my Dutch AD. Their initial response was end of March, but since it has to be sent to Switzerland it might take even longer now...

Congrats on the new strap! I had the inclination to try the long camel one, over the polished bracelet.

I like it rafabond. I have ordered a rally strap from Heuerville for my Autavia's also. Its been quite a few weeks wait but I'm sure it will be worth it. Will post some pics when I get it.
Hubert, still can't get my head around that Camel coloured strap. What was your impression after fitting it and trying it on?
By the way, some nice crisp photos you took Rafabond. Whats your secret?

Originally I was very resistant to the color, but it has grown on me over time. I think they designed this color to darken and improve with age.

What bothered me about the bracelet was the ultra polished look. I discovered that this opinion is shared with several of the salesmen I've talked to. Instead, if the finish was lightly brushed, then it would have been much better IMO.

That said, ordering the "long" strap was a mistake. It's way too big. I'm going to need to get a regular size, and then I might "mix" the two to make an in-between length.

From what I've heard from several places now, Tag make two lengths of strap for the Autavia. "Too damn small" and "too f****** big"! 馃榾

That is exactly right! That is why I hope taking from the two will produce a "medium". 馃槈

When I tried on the Autavia, I found the strap fitted my 6.5" wrist but there was very little overhang making it unbalanced and difficult to use. I imagine the larger one wouldnt fit me at all, or I'd need to punch holes, something I hate doing because it always looks bad.

Incidentally, I've regrettably and reluctantly pulled out of the Cal 11 Siffert Autavia, so have a couple of spare 21mm rally straps if anybody wants them. I guarantee they're "just right" in size 馃榾

Looks great and I kind of thought this strap option might have been available on the C11 model, but then I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea and David would have had to choose from the available range. This strap looks way nicer than the one on the Monza 40th, although if it was me I'd like the holes to be black all the way through - just being picky now I guess.

Me too. When I tried the standard strap, I had the same experience. That is why I ordered the long one, thinking it would be more balanced. 馃

I am going to take it to get two holes punched out tomorrow. Let's see how that feels.

The Monza strap was really nice when I tried it at the boutique. Really soft, luxurious and comfortable.

Yes, I thought about using that too, my reservation is with the perforations.

Here they are - weren't terribly expensive but they do have quick-release spring bars. Happy to send free to anyone who wants them - would just need to cover postage. Would prefer to see them end up on a Siffert Autavia if possible 馃榾 Just PM me if you want them.

a few more photos, it seems that premiere clock with this strap, the white holes I designed it so to have a contrast, between black and white, but can be stained in black later
