Finally my new CAW211B arrived this morning!

This has been a long time coming. I rejected several that were scratched and blemished due to their showroom-ware, but finally I was able to find one in pristine condition.

Without further to do, voilà!

@imagwai @Hubert Gents, a couple of real beauties! That Carrera looks absolutely brand new- I love this watch and the hand-wound movement...something very satisfying about winding your watch in the morning.

Likewise, the Monaco also looks news! Very, very sharp!

Thank you David; the Monaco was sold as "new"; the issue I had was that the remaining units were pretty scratched from being displayed all these years. Thankfully, my quest to call store-by-store to find one unscathed worked! In fact it was the only one; all others had several degrees of ware.

The Carrera had a warranty card (properly stamped by an AD) dated August 2014. But there wasn't a mark on the watch and the strap was clearly unworn. Even the lume still works. Felt like getting a brand new watch... from the 1990s! I was told by the seller (a vintage watch dealer in Italy) that it was "like new" but I thought perhaps that was just his way of saying it was in quite good condition. 😀
