Gave it a bit of a polish and a bit of brushing.
Love it. Sent my Monaco cal.11 off to TAG for inspection.
Kind of like this aquaracer more in some ways.

Great watch sir! Did you know that this is part of the 1st generation TAG Heuer Aquaracer? 😀

My first TAG Heuer is actually quite similar, Aquaracer CAF2110 (Date only) 42mm. Been with me ever since 2010 & never failed me 👍 One of the reasons why I’m so passionate about TAG Heuer 😉

I’m impressed with the ETA7750 automatic movement. Reliability & function. It does the famous “rotor whine” but never really bothered me and in fact this feature made a distinction from my second TAG Heuer, a TH Formula 1 (quatz chronograph) First love never dies 🥰

Thanks sir, didn’t know that.
I like the rotor whine too.
It’s just looks right. Think I may need to send it for a full service. Not had one since new (2010)
£435 standard rate at TAG
Any suggestions?
You’ve kept aquaracer looking nice.

Having large wrists and hands it doesn’t get dwarfed like some of the other watches I had in the past.

Cool thing about these Aquaracers that some may not realise is that the black portion of the bezel does not move.

😁
Gave the aquaracer an accuracy test. -11
Over 11 hours, had it off my wrist for 9 of those hours.
Looks like -24 seconds a day.
Do you think that’s too slow?
I’m pretty amazed that it hasn’t been serviced ever or since 2010 and this is the read out.
