Hello all.
I'm here because I need some light shedding on a Kirium automatic chronograph I'm interested in buying
The watch is a black dial on rubber strap
The case back is stamped CL2111
According to information I've turned up, this reference should be blue dial on metal bracelet.
The one I've seen should be CL2110.
So whilst it's definitely a genuine Tag Heuer, I'm thinking it's been assembled from different versions.
I'd appreciate your thoughts

CL2110.BA0700 = black dial + bracelet
CL2110.FT6000 = black dial + rubber strap

CL2111 = blue dial

Was it ever serviced, guessing maybe the service center put back the wrong case back.

That did occur to me. An interesting possibility. It appears in lovely condition and the seller includes the original purchase receipt of more than twice his asking price from an independent swiss watch specialist. This begs the question, why not just sell it back to them.

If he bought it new he's likely seen a huge depreciation over the last twenty years or so. It's still worth something but a reseller would probably offer him like £200-250 or something ridiculous like that. I very much doubt this watch is fake and suspect you might be right about it being repaired or assembled from other watches. Maybe the back plate had a nasty scratch and someone thought no one would notice the wrong number, or maybe it was a genuine mistake.
