Advice on buying new

I might have to bite the bullet and get a replacement for my old early 90s series 2000, having lost the bezel and unable to source a replacement.

I've taken a shine to the current Aquaracer range so would probably go for one of those. I've had a quick look at what's available and there's a company called Swiss Watches Direct who seem to offer items at a couple of hundred less than more 'mainstream' operators - anyone had dealings with them and could provide useful feedback? If not them any other recommendations - ideally UK based companies.

thanks in advance
Mark

I’ve not used them, but have used montredo a couple of times (for a way211a and way108a) with no issues

Swiss Watches Direct are a legitimate operation who will source a genuine watch. In most cases, it should come with a proper TAG warranty as well (but best to check). That is because they are usually obtaining the watch through the authorized dealer network for you at a discount and then selling on to you for a small margin. You may have to wait for the watch while they source it for you.

However, you should be able to get a discount yourself on an Aquaracer from an authorized dealer - probably somewhere in the region of 10-15% (although I haven't tested this for quite a while). Worth trying that route also. Or take a look at what's on offer at the TAG Heuer outlet in Biscester Village.

If you are in the UK BV can send you a WhatsApp link to their current stock, they can also post out so it doesn't matter if you live far away, just as long as you live in the UK
