962.006R..Is the R about the calendar Font?

Hi

Trying to unravel info from my watch code...I have done some digging around and comparisons to watch images and feel the letter R is all about the colour of the date?,

I am missing a bezel on a 962.006R and have the opportunity of purchasing a bezel from an earlier watch with the same number 962.006, Though there is no letter on the end of this code. If the letter refers to cosmetic differences I would be comfortable going ahead with the purchase.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hmm...I know there are two different bezels for this 2000, one with the click-wire and one with the click spring, they only fit on their corresponding cases so please check first which one you will need. Hope the info helps!
