An interesting article by Jeff Stein. I was hoping TAG Heuer might release something to commemorate 60 years of their claim of being the first Swiss watch in space, but no. :(

EDIT: I say "claim", because strapping on a stop watch isn't quite to same as wearing a proper wrist watch in space - that honor goes to the Breitling Navitimer. Nevertheless, Heuer was first.

They did release one a few years ago, a white dial Carrera I think. Or maybe I'm thinking of the SpaceX one. Eh who knows

Yeah I remember the Space X. But when I saw the title of this thread post, I thought it was about a new 60th anniversary space tribute watch and got excited. That's why I was a bit disappointed.

^ Yes, this would have been a great opportunity to have an anniversary watch.

Absolutely would have been, but TAG only seem interested in watches linked to celebrity endorsement

Indeed, biebuyck’s job is limited to posting old watches these days. Wonder what he makes of all this.
