Dial reminds me of Moonswatch. I found it should actually be the ETA 251.262. Same one as used in 300 euro Certina chronos

 

Oh really. That's disheartening. I have several watches that use that movement and the chronos all stop working properly... mind you, they are probably 20-25 years old and probably never seen a service so...

 

More likely Ronda 5040D, also used for current F1 chronos, same as 380 euro Formex.

New model has gone live today on the website. Limited to 1000 pieces, wasn’t sure if we had seen it before? Has the same design cues as the Red Bull and new Gulf.

It’s clear where they’ve gone with that for Indy, but it’s definitely not for me. Didn’t like the texture on the Porsche Carrera dial and this is worse.

 

I don't care for it. What's worse is it's $200 more expensive than the Gulf at $2550!

My favorite Indy 500 is still the CAZ101AD, from 2020.

 

Agree, that one is the most successful indy 500 design they have ever made

 

I think it's OK, but there are certainly better F1 designs out there.

Just happened to visit a Boutique today, definitely prefer the new Gulf over the Indy after seeing the two in person.

 

I'm a huge fan of the Indy 500, and while the new piece looks decent, I concur with your assessment, @Mspeedster.
