TAG Heuer is supposed to be avant garde, and Hublot is in a different price bracket.

I'll chime in with a focus on the Monza discussion in the video. I only watched it once, but I thought I heard FA make a comment that they just did not want to do a Monza in steel, etc. I get it, but if they had made a new steel model (42 mm like the 40th), I would have been interested (regardless of whether it was badged as Heuer or TAG Heuer).

On the other hand, the very well-liked 40th Monza wound up in the outlets (I would assume mainly due to the volume made), so what do I know. 😁

Yes, people loved it but did enough actually buy it? It's not as if pre-owned steel Monzas are fetching sky high prices is it?

I think the Monza is way more niche than the panda.

Pay no attention to me, I am just thinking about a cool Monza with a blue dial and orange accents (if I recall correctly) from Bamford’s site a year or two ago. 😁

Are we getting a TAG Heuer 39mm Carrera Chronograph in the main catalog? It seems that way based on FA & WK’s conversation. Since Carrera chronographs are always 42mm and above, we might see it at smaller sizes don’t you think? 😀

It’s also quite sad to see all these re-editions coming to an end, but every good thing has an ending at some point in tim. I’m thankful to TAG Heuer for doing this. So technically no more “Heuer” only logos? 😗

PS: can you see the TH logo shield at the background? 😉

At least we all know that it’s the end. If you were wanting a different layout than what’s been offered on the heritage Carrera’s you know not to wait. It seems under FA, we will see Heuer branded products phased out.

I spotted the shield right away. 👍
That was my take away too, that a new 39mm Carrera Chrono will become a standard part of the line up and will be introduced later in the year. But it won't be a glassbox, probably a case similar to the Elegant's but downsized to 39mm.

Maybe the new 39mm will be a base for more heritage inspired pieces, but with a TAG Heuer logo.

Then they can remake everything they've already made and clean up all over again... Panda, Silver, Blue Dreamer etc...

Will this then make the original glassboxes more collectible??

Nah, I think it'll be more like the 43mm Aquaracer and 40mm Aquaracer.

I really think Frederic is done with "faithful" re-editions, the 60th Carrera is the swan song. But there will probably be nice tribute watches like the 844 and Dark Lord tributes. For example, I wouldn't be surprised if they do a Ford v Ferrari tribute with the new 39mm Carrera. Or I should say that's one I'd love to see.

This makes sense given the rumours of a new skipper coming in 2023

I think by the end of the year Freddie will be a lot more popular around these parts...

I am liking what I've heard so far. As well as listening to me about doing a panda glassbox, it seems Tag have also taken my comments on board about having a 39mm Carrera as part of the regular line-up. Where do I apply for that job? 😎

Yes, but don't forget the two year warranty, plus they have been there forever, they'd maybe take a bit less...

I thought skeletons were just So Biver and they were moving on? I’m holding out for the launch of the Monaco Big Pilot.

Surely there is a 5 year manufacturer warranty on these pieces anyway, so at least 2 years remaining.
