Is this the first Indy 500 TAG Heuer without the wing tyre logo thingy on the dial?

    What about it?

(I really do need to get my phone camera cover fixed, it's particularly bad in boutique lighting :/ )

I can't really remember everything about it since the photo was taken a couple weeks ago but I do recall the red ring being more of a pale red than a deep red.

When I went in to the Boutique to take a look at the Orange Diver initially, they had some of the other upcoming 2022 midyear releases. I tried on the Senna and Indy 500 F1 models, and a third.

Confused as to whether this is Special Edition, or Limited Edition...

It will probably say Special Edition on the box and Limited Edition on the backplate.... although Limited Editions without numbers are pretty pointless.

Specially limited numbers? Should have the wings. Is the ‘black’ dial supposed to be the colour of tarmac?

I've heard it will be a numbered, limited edition (out of 500).

No, nothing particularly interesting. I think that's due later on in the year, I only saw the imminent releases.

I've gotten 'sneak peeks' of models before like the Monaco Titan or the Cal 5 Carrera line (usually when they show up in the store the day or week before going on sale) and haven't posted anything, so I suppose they do! I have no intention of messing around with their release plans anyhow.
