So I’d have thought tag would be worried about longines and Tudor. But they seem to price themselves alongside omega. I have huge affinity for the brand but seldom see anything I would pay for. Especially paired with my negative experience of the H02 movement and, generally, their avoidance of chronometer certification ( I note the super diver is a chronometer though)

Anyone bought one ?
How do you rate it ?
My local AD told me there’s a Rubber Strap coming for it, wonder if it would be in a dive kit like the Aquagraph and Super Pro ?
Cheers.

Hi,

I tried it on, it's a great watch with nice finishing. But the size is ridiculous, it's huge... I have a 17.5 cm wrist and it's huge, really, disproportionate.

For a much smaller budget and 39 or 41 mm watches my money goes straight to Tudor.

It's unfortunate that Tag Heuer can't make good divers (manufacture movement and not that shitty Sellita) in 39mm, 40mm or 41mm.

To be fair, the Super Diver has the Kenissi movement.

Yeah crazy big, lets hope they can do some serious R&D to find a way to put a kenissi movement into a smaller case in the future

There is an "in-house" 3-hand movement coming soon. (I don't know whether it's the Kenissi movement being placed in more watches but it sounds like a different one)

Yes I know but 45mm...
Yeah; I also tried it a while back. It's massive, a bit disproportionate, heavy (despite the Ti) and the hands look cheap / 'plasticky'. 🤦

Interesting, thoughts on being in the Carrea & Aquaracer?

From what I've heard, it's slated for the Carrera first.

Really like seeing more of the Super Diver. I had not realised before how green the lume is, a whiter lume probably woulda looked better

Yes, that's been one of my criticisms. The original render had that and it looked much better.

Whiter lume( like the tv stars new teeth) and drop the orange 15 minute section. Lume needed on the bezel?

Anyone know when (or if) the Rubber Strap is coming ?
Asked in a couple of boutiques lately and got blank looks, don’t knows and denials.

They showed it at Watches and Wonders, it was clearly visible in the About Effing Time video. It was due in April.... so anyone's guess!

Release dates seem very messed up. Ladies green Aquaracer has been on the US website for weeks, now told it will be in the UK in August!

Wife still eager to get that sweet green AR huh? It will be killer when you rock his and hers green Aquaracers. Did I dream that she already has a green Aquaracer by the way? Excuse my ignorance, at my age it starts to become challenging to remember things.
