Honestly I think it's a shame they've only made 20, I think it looks better than the blue/blue.

They probably had it in their shortlist but then decided to just launch black/black and blue/blue and keep the mix-up as an LE. Sadly too expensive and only for the Ibiza boutique.
Maybe a faded blue and grey bezel would have given it more of an Ibiza vibe.

Looks like someone had an hour to fill on a Friday afternoon until finishing time, picked up a couple of items out of the spares box and threw them together, favourite holiday resort completed it, increase the price to make it ‘special’ and job done. Not a terrible watch but does it make me think of Ibiza? No.

Pretty lazy for a limited edition, but I’ll be damned if I won’t admit that the combo works really well!

TH Ibiza boutique basically commissioned this and made it their LE right?

I think it looks pretty nice. Any idea the size of the watch?

Just follow the link to TAG Heuer's website in my original post and you will see this is 43 mm

To big, don't like it for a watch. Nice if you want to hang it on the wall I guess.

Wrist sizes are different, so are watch sizes. Good thing TAG Heuer offers their diver in 36 and 43. The 40mm version to be released soon. Later this year there will be a 45mm version too. I think it is great they offer different sizes, enabling for most to find a size they like and prefer

You have a 2000 right? Well that's awesome, I have several of them... but 37mm is no longer a 'normal' size for a gents watch, it's not just TAG it's the whole watch industry. I have 45mm and 34mm watches, I find that if you wear something for a couple of days you get used to it. I had the opposite problem to you, I convinced myself my first 2000 was too small and bought a 41mm F1... eventually I started buying up 80s watches mostly around 37mm and I got used to it. Jim has the wrists of a teenage girl but he still has a 43mm F1.

It's a nice color combo, I like it. However it's not justified the price increase over the regular version.

I see big overall trend of smaller sizes. 42mm and up will soon look dated. Already does to me.

Thank you sir. Yes here is the 43mm on my 8 year old girly girl wrist. I think it works.

I really don’t see the trend towards smaller watches. Rolex has gone bigger with the exception of the Explorer. Breitling, IWC and Omega still offering 41mm plus watches mostly. I see the trend of maybe a few more different size choices but still 40mm and bigger is the majority.
I see lug to lug being more of a thing lately. 47 - 50 seems that fits most wrists comfortably.

Totally agree with this, I find the size of the watch I am wearing really influences if I like the size of something I try on in a store.

When I bought my 38mm aquaracer back in 2007(?) I specifically asked for something that didn't belong in a hip hop video. Now the 38mm quartz feels tiny and I think the old 41mm AR (way211) is the sweet spot, and obviously the Black Bay 58 is the perfect size.

Totally agree. It's a total fiction to say that sizes are coming down. Just look in any jewellers window. Clearly not.

Yeah, this is true for me too.

I think some collectors' tastes change towards the smaller sizes. And some people think their taste reflects what the whole world likes too. But surely in the nerdy collector community, smaller sizes are popular, but like we've covered so many times already we know that the majority of watch buyers (the casual fan who buys one or maybe two pieces) enjoy things between 40-45mm still. And it is with this group the majority of the market and the money is.

Rolex reduced one watch from 39 to 36mm and people think the tide turned...

I'm so mad about this. Now I need to figure out what to buy instead, or pay the used rolex investment tax
