Why not eliminate the running seconds hand altogether, like the Bamford x Ruf?

Aww, that was my favourite part. But the problem is you take all that away you're left with a big load of nothing at the bottom of the dial. Maybe they could fill it up with text like on the proper Pelagos?

 

Just put a silver frame around the date, that's enough.

 

You don’t need anything there. No date, proper marker at 6 and you’re done. The 3647n didn’t need anything there.
