Not that he is in charge now, but JCB has previously said that they would not be using the Calibre 36 (El Primero) again.

You would think that the Heuer 02 was designed with the ability to add a flyback function.
I wonder it they will call it Heuer 02F for Flyback.

In the US the steel models have been for sale for a while. The bronze models are coming soon as part of a 2nd phase.

Dissapointed when it comes to prices in Sweden. The blue on leather costs 3800 Euro. That is 200 more than Black bay GMT on bracelet or 500 more than Black bay 58 on bracelet 馃檨

So I am guessing that the price on bracelet for the blue will be something like 4200 Euro. Can't see how it could be cost approx 1 000 more than the Black bay 58 馃憥

How can this be? Blue on leather is US$3600 / CHF 3500? Euro value is still higher than those currencies... Where did you see that price?

Got it in a written reply from the AD when I asked about the blue on leather...

When you buy a Tag Heuer, grey market is mandatory...

I disagree. Good discounts can be negotiated at ADs and the boutiques and you still get the full warranty. The additional discount but lack of warranty from the grey market is not worth it, IMO.

Some grey market dealers supply with manufacturers warranty

I agree, only special TH watches command the ticket price. Stock watches can be had for 30-35% off with full warranty. I bought a Tudor BB36 from a local AD yesterday. I could only find max 10% off for a blue dial so it just wasn't worth the grey market hassle. This AD has among others Rolex, Tudor, Omega and Cartier. Although there is no official TH AD anywhere in town they told me they wouldn't touch TH because of this retail price issue.

If it is more expensive than Tudor BB GMT, i guess AD or Boutique will have hard time selling it.

I am still waiting for the price in my country, will update later once available.

For the record most of discount i ever get from TH Boutique was 35%. I never get it again until now. Average i got around 25%.

I think you don't know much about the grey market.

I'm talking about the grey market where an intermediary buys the watch in an official Tag Heuer store but with a huge discount. Then I buy the watch from this intermediary (an official company) with a big discount.

I have always full Tag Heuer warranty on grey market + an invoice from the intermediary's compagny.

Warranty card activated from official Tag Heuer dealer.

With official Tag Heuer shop : max -10%
Tag Heuer retailer : max 20%
Grey market : -25% -> -35%

Since 2002 :

I bought 8 Tag Heuer in official shops.
And 39 Tag Heuer by grey market. Always with warranty (2 years).

Last month, I bought my Carrera Heuer 02 with 30% of discount... and my Aquaracer 300m with 32% of discount.
Warranty cards OK.

Another well-known site where many of us have been buying from them for several years (I bought Rolex, Tudor and Tag Heuer) : http://www.mallofthewatch.com/fr/categorie-produit/tag-heuer-fr/

Well, I got 45% off in a TAG Heuer boutique on my last purchase.

Good for you. But it's not the subjet, the amount of the discount...

But the point is : on grey market, no problem for the warranty 馃槈

And on Tag Heuer brand : you should never pay the official price...

yes I agree!

Too bad about the price because I would much rather support the AD, they have great service, than buy grey market. But question is if this one will be worth the money, I doubt it right now...
