Google I/O is next week, so there are Wear OS updates coming, Wear OS Update Introduces Tiles, Which are Like Little Information Cards
On the phone I have the following new settings now: On the TH you should switch to the right several times. First you will see Google fit original tile, then will be new tiles.
I received Tiles on my Connected 41 today. Unsure if related, but I did a hard reset last night on my watch after factory resetting my phone for Q Beta reasons.
Running Android Q (Beta 3) (phone), Wear OS app (phone) v 2.24.0.244631785, Google Play Services (phone) 16.7.90, Wear OS (watch) v2.6, Google Play Service (watch) 17.1.91 Only widgets available so far are weather, agenda, fit (same as before), news and fit (daily heart point graph).
Nothing yet on my end. Could it be that because you're running Android Q Beta 3 on your phone, this updates the watch with newer versions?
I am not sure if this plays any role in getting tiles, but if you want to install this version of Play Services, you can enroll in the beta program in the Play Store.
I am not sure if Q does anything to get Tiles, but I was running Q for weeks and never received Tiles until I factory reset my phone and watch.
I had Tiles for all of 5 minutes on my Tag. But the watch wasn't responding to taps so I reset it and now Tiles are gone. Meanwhile on my Fossil smartwatch, I got it around the same time and no problems at all. It's pretty useful.
I got an update on my watch last night and one on my iphone during the day but i don't see the tiles anywhere. Can someone post the OS versions?
I've got tiles on my CM41 now. iPhone user. Not a fan of the narrow yellow crescent that's now on the right side of my watchface. Hoping that goes away.
