So I was lucky enough to get a 2020 Connected from Santa, and just love it! I'm officially hooked on Tag.

Here's the thing... I have only downloaded the Tag Connected App and I'm getting all my notifications, text, emails, whatsapp, although no calendar. I was under the impression you had to have the wear os app installed and running at all times, or do I have this wrong?

I think that if you don't download the Wear OS app on your phone, the watch doesn't go further than the Welcome screen. I'm not sure I understand how you can receive notifications on your watch without having downloaded the Wear OS app. Normally this means that you haven't tethered yet your watch to your phone.

 

It’s a mystery to me. I had the Wear OS app installed initially, but deleted it after I had some connection issues. I left the Tag app on the phone and played around with the notification settings on my I-phone and I now receive notifications for Messages, phone calls and emails, but no calendar. I assumed that that Tag App, while connected and left running in the background was pushing information to the watch.

Tu as du recevoir avec cette mise jour la nouvelle présentation météo par contre tu as du retard lol on est à 2.24 1er juillet 2020

Je comprends très bien la question que je me pose c est pourquoi la mise a jour Wear os mets autant de temps sur vos montres et espérons que tu puisses toujours obtenir les presques dernières mises à jour car CONNECTED malheureusement n a pas cette chance

I also received another watch update Yesterday after my Android based phone received a WearOS update

 

Hi all, anyone else experiencing battery issues with the new release of wearos ?

 

Discharges in just a few hours now

 

Yes battery discharges in less than a day where it had been 30% - 40% at end of day. Seems Miscellaneous uses nearly 50% whatever that is.

Noted that Wearos has updated to 2.25 tonight so will see if that contains a fix

 

Reversed to 2.8. Uninstalled the new one 2.24 as I was not getting the whole day battery. Something was draining it. Other was 40% or more. I hope they fix it. Meanwhile I don’t change. I am the happiest man in the world with my always on Eco watch faces made by Albert
