Tried it on today... not as in your face as I was hoping, dial is almost phantomesque. Will post my review tomorrow.

Will be interesting to see your thoughts. I have come to realise that I really dislike the Aston Martin logo on the dial. The more I look at it the more I want to punch someone in the face ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

Yellow/greenish Aston Martins?? Dark green Shirly! Or mid green as on 2 VEV https://www.bonhams.com/press_release/25575/

OTOH as a kid I admired the dark blue DB2 of the lady who lived in the close-by Manor House.

My dad had a p*ke-green Standard Ensign in which I first connected a running engine to the driving wheels of a motor car -- on the Manor House driveway.

Really... that seems a little extreme, but okay! ๐Ÿ˜€
My main issue is with the strap... it's even shorter than the Gulf one!

I am curious to seeing the Aston Martin Carrera in the metal. The last I heard, this one could be coming "soon". Possibly late-July?

Woah, take a chill pill......๐Ÿ˜€ As logos on dials go, it is one of the more tastefully done and discrete that I have seen.

Yes, I am really keen to see this too. Fingers crossed they have tweaked the design to incoporate a better colour scheme. The red accents don't work and if they remain will likely be a deal breaker for me.

I am a bit concerned on the final look and finish. The render look is impressive.

However actual photos show too many details.

Looks much better when not directly lit.

Agreed. The honeycomb dual looked a lot less distracting in the render and now in actual photos makes it look busy.

Only thing Iโ€™ll say about the AM logo on the dial of the F1 is it does at first glance make you think Breitling. Personally I dislike Breitling for some unkown reason. ๐Ÿคจ

I know what you mean, which is why I think some better accenting/detailing using AM's green, as per the F1 model, would present a more balanced design.

At first quick glance I agree that it sort of looks like Breitling's former logo, the only difference being that Breitling would never squeeze the logo in there in such an awkward way ๐Ÿ˜‰

The design elements of the perforated Carrera dial share the look of the perforated exhausts of some of their cars, like the brand new DBS.

On the Carrera, the logo looks awful. I get that the shape makes it difficult to place, but really? ๐Ÿคฎ
