Hmm. Don't know what that is. That looks like a Heuer-01 movement given the two silver sub-dials at 12 and 6. I would have thought Carrera?

Yes, that seems like a Carrera Heuer 01 to me too.

TAG HEUER ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL PARTNERSHIP WITH ASTON MARTIN
The big announcement comes directly from the Geneva International Motor Show

A symbol of British luxury and elegance, the iconic sports car manufacturer has chosen TAG Heuer as Timekeeper for its racing team: Aston Martin Racing, putting the Swiss watchmaker back in action at the World Endurance Championship.

Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, and Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer, announced their new partnership during the Geneva International Motor Show, in the midst of Aston Martin's luxurious fleet of cars.

Together, they also unveiled the new Vantage GTE bearing TAG Heuer colors, which will compete during the next 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Aston Martin is all about TAG Heuer DNA: luxury, quality, beautiful pieces, innovation, history, emotion and performance. We are truly thrilled to be able to collaborate with such a prestigious brand, with whom we share the same passion for automobile.

Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer

With prestigious cars, but also race models among the most powerful in the world, Aston Martin has been perpetuating a tradition of excellence and innovation since 1913 within its manufacturing headquarters at Gaydon, in England. In this workshop/ visionary laboratory, the brand known to all with the winged emblem gave birth to iconic luxury cars, such as the everlasting DB series.

Aston Martin is the Title Sponsor of the Formula 1 Red Bull Racing team, of which TAG Heuer is also the Official Timekeeper - a partnership gathering three touchstone brands of motor racing.

TAG Heuer will be the Official Watch of the very awaited and exclusive Valkyrie: a road sports car as powerful as it is luxurious, developed in collaboration with Red Bull Racing and produced only in 150 cars.

Embodying dynamism, avant-garde, and youth - this new agreement promises exciting collaborations around Aston Martin and TAG Heuer values.

Love the colour used on the F1 but not the overall watch.

Love the honeycomb dial and mid-case on the Heuer 01. Shame it is not the 43mm. I would have gone with the 'Aston Martin' text in green along with the tip of the chrono second hand and possibly the AM logo.

Good to see that they are not super-priced limited editions in exotic metals. Much as I love some of the JLC AMVOX range, they were very pricey. With an F1 and a Heuer 01, TAG Heuer are giving the full range of their customers the opportunity to buy into the Aston Martin connection.
