·I think it was the 2018 indycar that I saw pictures of that looked so smooth and neat, no fiddly/ugly aero fittings, so much better too look at.

·The livery looks smart but it’s in a Matt finish which suggests it’s not the final design – i’m no expert and could be wrong of course - but be interesting to see what the RB looks like in Australia in a few weeks.
According to Jack Phillips of MotorSport magazine it is a "pre-season" livery, so it's expected to change. Perhaps it is a disruptive pattern so the actual details of wings etc are hard for the opposition to see?

Didja know that most of the classic JPS Lotuses were not black and gold? The gold was not used for long -- it did not show up well on television so was replaced with yellow.

It was matt finish last season (it's more aerodynamic apparently), ten to one the 2018 paint job will be pretty much the same as the 2017 one.
