I just got the email about this one. Not that it bothers me, but I didn't think there were going to be any more Autavia releases this year?!

I notice it has vintage style lume and Heuer 02 on the dial. The colour scheme definitely works, though, as you would expect being effectively tried and tested! Very good looking watch.

I like the tachy bezel and the color scheme - especially the aged lume. But I still can't get behind the "HEUER 02" text on the dial.

Unfortunately it seems TAG is going the way of Panerai with the limited editions of the Autavia...

The tachy looks nice but together wit the orange details makes the whole look a bit too busy for my taste. Happy the Siffert has the MH after seeing this. Aged lume doesn’t work for me. The Heuer02 is unfortunate. A nice watch nonetheless. Does have a Bamford feel about it though.

Agree that the tachy bezel is a nice touch.

@imagwai That was the word back in March, although I suspect that they now meant official TAG Heuer models, rather than collaboration watches. I don’t know if any more of these are planned.

Then of course we have the Calibre 5 and Calibre 7 Autavias..interesting, the prototypes had a ceramic rather than aluminium bezel

Why is the Heuer02 text such an issue? Just curious..

Can't say I'm overly taken with this one, if the Calibre11 version was a 10, this is about a 6.

I have no issues with this variant but it doesn't sing to me.

I'm fact I think I prefer the original 2017 black face autavia over this one. None of them likely to make it onto my wrist over the siffert version though.....

Like hubert it's probably only a gmt pepsi heuer 02 that might persuade me to pick up another autavia. And selfishly I hope thats a couple of years away 'cos I have a couple of other ideas for purchases!

I love the orange details and the tachy but the thickness on these Autavias unfortunately don't work for me :(

Thickness was something I was worried about but on the wrist really haven't found it to be an issue.

I completely agree with you on this one! I heard quite a few remarks when the Autavia started to hit the stores, but haven't really had any problems with the thickness after I tried in on the wrist. Sure, it's a watch that is sized slightly larger, but it's not that thick for being an integrated chronograph movement...

Looks like a million bucks but doesn't necessary worth the premium. Is there a post anywhere where anyone keeps track of all the variations of the 02 Autavia?

If I am not mistaken so far there are:

    1. HEUER HERITAGE CALIBRE HEUER 02 (standard versions)
    2. Jack Heuer 85th Anniversary Limited Edition - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/tag-heuer-autavia-jack-heuer-edition-phillips-introducing
    3. Limited edition for UAE (150 pieces) - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-tag-heuer-autavia-limited-edition-for-uae
    4. Limited edition for Calibre11 (100 pieces) - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/t...ert-collectors-edition-calibre-11-introducing

Jeff Stein wrote a nice post of all the Autavias on his blog (on the dash). Unfortunately I’m currently travelling and can’t link it, but it’s on the blog!

I guess you could reference variations of the standard "Rindt" model - earlier models with the 2.5 min gradations on the 30 min subdial. And later models where they fixed this with minute intervals.

For me, it's just a bit too busy stuffed in there with the date window. One of my favorite things about the Siffert is that it was left off; it's one of those subtle touches that makes a big difference in my experience

It's a nice watch, but I think they should start limiting limited editions.
