I agree. Vettel overreacted, even if Hamilton's breaking was too abrupt.
But...but...he didn't brake!! Just failed to accelerate as fast as Vettel wanted/expected. 馃榾

At last something to liven up F1, in the old days I'd have said Bernie was behind it all.

Red Bull's pace seemed to evaporate- Ricciardo even had an extra set of tyres in that second stint and still couldn't make any inroads.

Dan did a solid job, Lewis did a multiple World Champion job. Dan is good, I'd like to see him win at least one WC, but...

... in two years what will Max be capable of?

Interesting to see the Aston Martin/ Red Bull tie-up announced yesterday:

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/headlines/2017/9/f1-aston-martin-red-bull-title-sponsor-2018.html

I asked JCB if this had any impact on the TAG Heuer deal- his reply was that there was none at this stage. The key to the future will be what happens beyond 2018, when Red Bull will need to get a new engine, having already announced the end of the Renault deal. Given the new engine formula doesn't come until 2021, it's hard to see a Porsche/ Audi coming in with the existing regulations. They do have the Honda option if that improved.

Another possibility is that McLaren and Aston Martin jointly fund the emerging Cosworth engine programme...we'll have to see how a naming rights sponsor like TAG Heuer fits into that equation
