He didn't quite make it. Dropped back down about 10 metres from the finish line......after having nudged the roof off a couple of straw bales!!!

Was a fantastic day yesterday. I didn't get to see nearly as much action as I would have liked, due to having a fidgety 8yr old son with me who was desperate to experience all the interactive tech/VR stuff as much as possible.
Got a handshake with Martin Brundle and spotted Jean Todt and Allan McNish (quite hard, they're both teeny-tiny).
Highlights for me were seeing the 1967 Lotus 49 in action at close quarters, getting up close with the Ferrari P3/4 (sans Sir Jackie!) in the paddock and blagging in invite into the private Bugatti enclosure (more on that later).
Honestly, I would have been happy just stood at the exit points of the F1/super car paddocks all day.
Absolutely exhausted when I got home. Will sort out a few pics when I've recovered. But don't expect much TH coverage outside a few logos. Unless the Tag stand/pavilion was tucked away in an obscure location, or hidden inside Goodwood House to keep poor riff-raff like me out, there wasn't one.
