Albeit this is an elegant watch, and suitable for a business attire or casual dinner, I propose we make the distinction between a dressy watch, and dress watch.

The Carrera, has a timeless elegance and in my opinion one of the nicest case design ever made.
There's one issue however with the modern Carrera range; it is not suitable to label it as a dress watch, ambassador Dicaprio begs to differ though.

Why? Because it is too thick.
Wear it with a tailored shirt and the cuffs will hit a hurdle it cannot cross, sitting high on your wrist.

Reeditiond, smaller models work better and retain the Carrera's beautiful shape.

The subject watch of this thread has in my opinion, no premium feel.
Put any other Carrera chronograph next to it, or a heritage edition, and it will look like a normal entry-level Seiko.

Final rant: I absolutely hate jewels on a watch 😜

I have a feeling that the blue-dial Carrera pair are both part of the Lady's collection...which would explain the quartz movements
