It was nice to see TAG Heuer everywhere on this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. Although I personally experienced the festivities through the web, it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Almost forgot! For the 300 SLR fans.

Stirling Moss was in attendance driving it to celebrate the 60th anniversary of his 1955 Mille Miglia victory. The Mercedes Benz 300 SLR chassis 0004/55 is the car in which Moss completed the run, co-driven by journalist Denis Jenkinson, and bearing the #722 – the car’s allotted start time at the event. The same car also bore him to victory in that year’s Tourist Trophy (with John Fitch) and Targa Florio (alongside Peter Collins).

For the McLaren, Senna, Button fans:
For 2015, McLaren Honda driver Jenson Button dipped into both company's history books and drove away in the McLaren Honda MP4/6 in which the late, great Ayrton Senna won the 1991 World Drivers' and Constructors' Championship.

Nissan Juke Nismo RS sets world record for driving on two wheels
The British division of Nissan sent stunt driver Terry Grant out onto the famous Goodwood circuit in a Juke Nismo RS, where he ran the entire course while driving on two wheels. While the distance is impressive, Grant also made the journey at a pretty reasonable speed. He completed the run in just two minutes and ten seconds. That means he had to average over 30 miles per hour across the entire course... while driving on just two wheels.

I called again today and the McLaren 30th Anniversary should become available in the US by the end-of-July for $1550.
